Salary: $24.1201 ($43,898.58 yr) & Benefits Eligible for Sick, Vacation and Holiday Pay

Schedule: 35 hr/wk – Schedule is based on library needs and will include days, generally 1-2 nights/wk & rotating Saturdays The Camden County Library is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and creative professional who loves to work with the public both in person and virtually. Duties performed under the direction of a professional Librarian include:
• develop and present youth services programming; including story time and other early literacy programs
• provide basic reference and reader’s advisory services to all ages;
• answer questions in-person, over the phone and by email;
• assist customers on the public computers and using other technology and resources;
• collection development duties including recommending purchases, weeding, and upkeep of the assigned collection area;
• conduct community outreach to schools and local organizations;
• assist at the circulation desk as needed;
• perform other related duties as required.

Education and Experience: Library Associate requires: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree. ** Only candidates currently enrolled in an accredited MLIS program and within 6 months of graduation will be considered.
