The Maplewood Memorial Library seeks an innovative, dynamic, and forward-thinking librarian to administer Children’s Services as part of the Hilton Branch Library team. This is a dual-reporting position; the selected candidate will report to the Hilton Branch Manager and the Head of Youth Services. They are collaborative, have strong communication skills, provide excellent customer service to patrons of all ages, and understand our unique and diverse community. They demonstrate knowledge of children’s literature and flexible thinking. They are current in public library matters and show a commitment to sustainable workplace and professional practices. As Maplewood Library moves through its new Strategic Plan, Hilton staff will help reimagine the Branch and its role in the community. This is a full-time, benefitted position.
