We provide a myriad of virtual and in-person programming for both adults and children, have an active Caroline Rose Foster North Jersey History & Genealogy Center that preserves state and local manuscripts, books, photographs, maps, newspapers and more. We regularly collaborate with local organizations and participate in many annual events in the area. Our bookmobile service, which began in the 1920s, serves preschools, after school programs, day care centers, and senior facilities in our service area. We maintain Little Free Libraries in our municipalities and through our Friends of the Library do booksales weekly throughout the year to raise funds for everything from needed Library technology to free books for children that we provide to attendees of our multiple summer reading book clubs. With a staff of 48, we maintain a welcoming atmosphere for patrons of all walks of life inside our 1917 historic building that was expanded in 1930, 1987, and 2006.
